Part I: This seminar builds on the basics of project engineering, diving deeper into the essential roles and tasks of field and project engineers. Topics include RFIs, submittal, meeting minutes, document control, and more. Participants will gain a solid understanding of these critical functions and learn how to apply them to support their construction teams effectively.
Part II: The second day expands on Part I, focusing on advanced topics like project management, earned value management, procurement, risk management, and stakeholder management. This session equips attendees with the skills needed to handle complex project challenges and enhance their construction practices.
Participants are expected to attend both days.
Recommended for Project Engineers or Project Managers with 0 – 7 years in construction.
Harry Bederian is deeply committed to mentoring young professionals in the mechanical contracting industry. He has extensive experience in the HVAC and industrial construction sectors, holding positions such as project manager, senior project engineer, and estimator. Throughout his career, Harry has been involved in projects totaling over $1 billion and serves on several industry boards, including CPMCA and as an Industry Advisor to Cal Poly Pomona. He holds a Master’s in Project Management from the University of Wisconsin.
